Ralston the perfect example of #Celticfc 's imperfect squad management.
"Can do a job", but not near pushing AJ for a start. And we have a good few players like that.
Everyone should really be pushing for a start, with the other spaces being reserved for youths.

I'm more confident with the change of manager. And moreso Maloney tbh.
Before MON had even come in, he rounded up the players and was going through the Hearts game to show players where to improve. Which it seems BR just never done.
But still a lot of shortcomings. So who knows.

I'd give Donovan a chance too.
General concensus Ralston "can do a job", but not NEAR pushing AJ for a start.
SURELY Donovan can do that, thus creating an actual youth pathway, instead of blocking it with players we know aren't good enough.
But BR won't.

I think Donovan looks a prospect. I'd play him ahead of Ralston this season. Rodgers won't but I would.
We're not that solid defensively.
Ralston gets beaten too easily.
Scales tends to rush out to press someone, which I never understand isn't exploited more.
And a couple of crosses there we look a bit at 6s & 7s, leaving a player unmarked.
