Still seeking LIS workers from all areas of our field! This semester I'm also teaching 'Trauma Informed Librarship' (my own designed little scrappy course) for a second time. Yay!! If anyone if interested in talking trauma, trauma informed care, and the work we do.

I will share two insights: 1) Creating my tenure packet broke me. 2) I felt a heavy weight pressing on my shoulders. Did the unclear year long wait break me? Of course! But numerous experiences have broken me. Yet, I'm still here. My lifelong stubbornness & (TBH) spite got me surprisingly this far.

Oh! A share! I found out mid-July that I officially received tenure (right here at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee)! I won't opine about how I spent all of last summer building my tenure packet. Or the almost year long bureaucratic process to find out yea or nay about my tenure status.

Sometimes the site works for me. Others times nothing. I've tried different browsers. Anyone have info or suggestions?

Confused about "In the Library with the Lead Pipe". Does it still exist or have a reliable presence online that I'm overlooking? I have my students read Ettarh's "Vocational Awe" (in all my course honestly). But students (and myself) are having a really difficult time accessing the journal's site.
