Finished this amazing book today. A “canceled” romance writer meets a man in Alaska that embodies every book boyfriend romance trope in the business. It was epic. They had the best banter. However, this book made me question the third act breakup. #booksky #audiobookcommunity #romanceread

Book Review: The Birds of California (2022) is centered around a second-chance romance between two child costars. I liked that idea—it felt really different than a lot of the books I have read. The narrator was good, but I think it would’ve been better with dual narration. I give it 3.5 out of 5 ⭐️!
