He just remained still and quiet, in fact his body started to shake slightly, to him, he can never go back to who he once was, he's killed too many villains to ever go back, he could feel anger, guilt and trauma..he breaks to his knees and his breathing quickens slightly

His quills are so messy that it's almost unrecognisable, he knew that she was a variant, he couldn't bring himself to even tell her his identity..he just can't take such a risk

As soon as he felt a tug, he stop and turns his head, faded emerald hues shift to her, he remained silent for a brief moment before eventually breaking the silence

The masked hedgehog tried separating his old self from him to avoid any possible suspicion, his quills that stuck out of the mask are so messy, it makes it almost unrecognisable, eggman's robots weren't a problem for him
