Pretty much this. I remember our senior spring trip to Boston and opening bundles of dark ascension/innistrad and I pulled geist of saint traft AND Elbrus the binding blade.
@abstractmarcher.bsky.social and I were in our after school games club when our friend, John told us about magic and how to play. I remember when we opened our first product, an M12 booster box in the back of our minivan and I pulled a foil Day of Judgement out of one of my first packs. 🦉
