Since the beginning of my life as a young man, I have worked at everything. I worked as a carpenter, tradesman, blacksmith, contractor, and cook.I built my house and didn't need anyone.I was good at everything: construction, painting, caulking, and electricity. My mother was displaced from Jaffa in the Nakba of 1948 when she was still young.She told us how her house was broken into and how her husband was shot in the head in cold blood and without mercy. My mother died at the age of 85 and she never forgot this memory.We talked about it over and over again
