this is not to dunk on the album or the artist by the way, or if you enjoy it. but there is validity in the questions and disappointment of a song like that being written when the political climate GLOBALLY has been rocked by fascism and capitalism, and the people who enable it.

just one tweet about this because I support anyone enjoying any art they like but never at the expense of being socially and culturally tone deaf: that one song celebrating friends who people have rightfully been called out for their political alignment. a choice was made, and it wasn’t a good one.
