I devour the WIPs, I comment on chapters (when I can, because I like to read while I walk, but I hate typing while I walk), I have little interactions with the authors. And I've never enjoyed being in a fandom more. And I'm OLD.

I used to have a WIP anxiety. Why would I want a story that I'm not sure would have an ending? I was only browsing big fandoms with tens of thousands of stories, I could filter by Complete Only and be picky.

You know, I've had ao3 since 2012 and I've always been The Silent Reader. Read a fic, leave a kudo and move on. Sort-by-kudos-and-go-from-the-top kind. Until I got into a small and actively developing fandom - KCD and the hansry pairing.
