A bill passed by the U.S. House of Representatives would cancel energy efficiency standards for new manufactured homes, raising energy bills for some residents by $475/year on average.
A bill passed in the U.S. House today could set efficiency rules for manufactured homes back by decades. ->
Mobile homes already have huge utility bills. Congress may make it worse.
With latest vote, Congress may end up making mobile homes even less energy efficient.
