RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe R6.02 Update 2 released!
This update brings some bug fixes, alongside a few improvements. I've also updated the Plugins pack to include a new one: FullScreen +. As the name implies, it adds a full screen toggle. And it also adds support for Windows PC handhelds when using the bootstrap. Changelog: Overhauled how WebP compression works. Switched over to ImageMagick. Merged the option for lossy/lossless compression and the compression level into two settings.

RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe R6.02 Update 1 released!
Fixed a typo in the plugin loading mechanism, that would cause a compiler error. Fixed a bug with the test builds. The tool wouldn't copy over the SDK version, when it was set to create test builds. Download it here.

RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe R6.02 released!
Today's update (codenamed Gnocchi) brings some quality-of-life improvements, alongside updating to .NET 10 (Release Candidate 1). One of the most notable changes is the re-worked creation of test builds: it's now a dropdown in the main window; it takes care of the --disable-devtools option automatically (when necessary) and added additional info for better diagnostics. There was also an overhaul on the patching system, for better performance and accuracy.

RPG Maker Cook Tool R6.01 Update 4 released!
Updated dependencies, bringing stability improvements. Initial API support for handhelds like the ROG Ally. The bootstrap will add the --handheld command line argument before launching the game. The flag is skipped on the Proton compatible build and Linux. Fixed a bug, where if the option to protect the source is turned off but asset encryption is on, the tool would crash. Download it here.

RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe R6.01 Update 3 released!
Re-worked how the JS Source Code tool worked behind-the-scenes. Fixes an issue where the UI would lock up during that stage. Slight tweaks to improve reliability. Fixed a bug, where the bootstrap would throw an error as it was trying to load the file catalog, even though it's the first time that the game runs. Cache paths now use the XDG path spec. R6.01 Update 2 released!
This is a rollup of updates of R6.01u1 and R6.01u2, which addresses some bugs that were present in R6.01. Changelog: Re-worked the filter, as it was filtering out game files by mistake. Fixed an error, where if the user set the save folder as the NW.js reserved folder, Quick Load breaks. Slight performance improvements.

RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe R6.01 released!
This update is more of a behind-the-scenes cleanup, rather than a standard update. Quite a lot of re-work is done under the hood, which bring better performance and reliability (alongside making easier for me to maintain). You will notice faster build times and lower memory usage. Changelog: Improved memory usage, performance, and preparation speed. Consolidated some of the logic for the tool and the bootstrap.

RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe R6.00 Update 2 released!
"Another update, Ace? So soon?" Yeah. This one has some important fixes. This update addresses some issues that popped up quite recently. Specifically, I had to overhaul how the tool handles paths. In recent builds, paths wouldn't be adjusted properly, which would result into weird path related issues. The issues would manifest into errors regarding non-existent paths or false positives on the bootstrap (when it checks the integrity of the cache).

RPG Maker Cook Tool R6.00 released!
It’s finally here! The biggest update to RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe has arrived! A lot of quality of life updates, technical improvements and bug fixes have been added to the release, alongside the introduction of the all-new Deep Level Encryption. Let’s take a closer look. Overhauled Asset Pipeline As part of a major overhaul, the Asset Compressor, Deep Level Encryption and Source Code Protection has been merged into the Asset Preparation.

RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe R6.00 RC1 released!
Here we are! A near stable version of R6.00 arrives today, bringing bug fixes and a few quality-of-life improvements (including a check where if the project has encrypted files, it will skip asset compression and encryption). Outside of bug fixes and looking into a way to flush the cache when the encryption changes (that applies when the option to clear the cache when the game closes is turned off), I can mark this release as a Release Candidate.

RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe D6.00 Preview 2 released!
Reminder: This is a preview release. It's not production ready. You are free to use it for testing. Changelog: Added automatic migration for the older recipe file spec. Migration for individual recipe files is done automatically. Just point to the file via the file picker. It will also migrate the default settings as well, if you launch this version for the first time and there's no existing file for it.

RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe R5.11 Update 6 released!
This update is more of a roll-up of two updates. The first one brings minor bug fixes and improvements to how the app records logs. The second one is a hotfix. That addresses issues where Windows Defender would just flag the bootstrapper. That is due to rcedit, which is used to change the icon on the bootstrapper and the game's executable.

RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe R5.11 Update 2 released!
Updated dependencies, for better stability and performance. Added back Bootstrap customization. The Effekseer Texture files are skipped for asset compression. Fixed the following issues: If the path to the output folder ends with the directory separator character ('\' on Windows, '/' in Linux) the following bugs occured: Bootstrap would look at the wrong folder to verify the game's binaries. The "steamout" folder would end up inside the output folder (when it should have been on the parent folder. When the integrity check for the game's binaries failed the bootstrap wouldn't close automatically. Download it here.

RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe R5.11 Update 1 released!
Added a check, where if the output folder is set to the same folder as the source folder (or too close to it), the task will be aborted. Fixed some issues with parts of the UI. Fixed an issue with the Asset Compressor. Due to a broken setup, compression with AV1 wouldn't work. Fixed an error, where the title bar wasn't updated.
