Beautiful morning for a walk

Rough day today. 4am call that my stepdad (basically my dad along with my real dad) had a massive heart attack last night, I’m 2500 miles away (they are in Florida.) Surgery went well, couple stints (98% blockage), icu stay and he’s most likely being released tomorrow.

I know it’s nothing compared to my Indiana friends and family but we hit 29° in Vegas this morning and it’s damn chilly.

Celebrating an east coast new year in the pacific time zone because I can’t wait for 2024 to end. Here’s to a better 2025
