Before we demonize and ostracize let’s consider the convenience, shelf stability and affordability of packaged bread, cereal, frozen meals, noodles or rice. These foods can be part of the plate and enhanced by the addition of protein, beans, lentils, soy foods, fruit, vegetables and dairy products.

Cheese please! @eatalyboston- the cheese health ROI is a reason to try to benefit from the dairy matrix: protein, micronutrients, fermentation (bioactives)= a great food for bones and the gut in a delicious, nutritious, ready to use form to add flavor combinations and nutrient amplifications.
