The commercial revenues will be sufficient to insulate the fans from above tolerable prices. We aren’t there yet. Getting there will invariably have a few incidents where the balance isn’t right. The pace at which we can improve on the pitch is tempered by our income (I know we all know this)!

At some point you have to trust the individual to say I’m not paying that and walk away. With them I’ve no doubt some enthusiastic bod from somewhere in the world will gladly step in. Re our club the balance will be the funding of the club through fan activities vs commercial revenues. Ideally…

It’s paying for your place in the queue, capitalising on demand…not nice for fans but like we have seen at HD people will pay. But wouldn’t beat the ability to charge an option fee for naming rights on a stadium that didn’t have a queue 😂

Just watched the BBC interview with Lewis Moody… brought to tears by the story but marvel at the manner in which he is able to talk about it and be so selfless in is outlook. What a man.

I know but fast forward to if Burnley have a positive result (however it happens) the precedent this could set is significant in light of City’s 115 charges.
Wholly agree it seems unlikely that the actions alone by one unrelated party are the sole cause. Logic says no chance.

Agree but there must be ramifications if Burnley have a positive result. Theoretically a PSR breach would “cause” others to lose out and simplistically blame=claim? Could you imagine if the most successful team in the land in recent years was at risk..Surely Mr Masters et al won’t let this happen?!?

Comprehensive assessment. On the face of it, it will be difficult for them to prove Everton were the cause and I hope the legal team make this point extensively. Also what are the implications on other pending and determined cases of PSR breaches - do all other clubs start proceedings?! Chaos.
