Go on Google Maps, use the measuring tool. Draw a line though the northern henges entrance, through the southern henge - then all the way to the Devilβs Arrows (arbitrary I know).
This passes directly through Nunwick Hengeβs causeways.

I'm aware that there was disagreement about the article by Steve Dickinson on a potential new Cumbrian Stone Circle (@adamibbotson.bsky.social). I wonder whether this is the reason that the Autumn Issue of PAST 111 has been deleted online. I am sad because we had an article on malt in this issue. π€

Nobody in the know believes it. The LDNP archaeo visited the site with him and told him itβs very unlikely.
Yet, heβs on the news stating that itβs 100% real.
I was the one who found the LiDAR feature. So, if anything, itβs my discovery haha

Pure speculation to be honest! But, carvings like this are found in Neolithic contexts - stone circles, tombs eyc.
