👀 COMING MARCH 2026.

Exclusive demos @ SPIEL Essen.
The cover of the board game Flip Pick Towers, published by Osprey Games, designed by Rob Fisher and Adam Porter, illustrated by Beatrix Papp. The art depicts a figure in a flowing gold and black cape spreading their arms in front of the scene of a castle in whites, blues and golds, with dragons circling ahead. Various pencils are shown extending into the artwork from the white border outside it to draw it, surrounded by magical sparkles.

Thanks. Yes, absolutely! This is the first of my games which has had a big launch like this with multiple previews, how to plays, and playthrough videos. It’s very enjoyable because it feels like an event!

That’s awesome! I’m really pleased to hear it :) If you’re able to leave a similar comment as an Amazon review, I’d really appreciate it! Good luck with your projects!

I agree with you Sen. In my non-design career as an educator in healthcare I’m surprised how seriously personality tests are treated. MBTI, DISA etc are promoted heavily in UK & rarely scrutinised. My video was not meant as anything more than an entertaining conversation-starter. Thanks for sharing!

This is great! I’ll certainly be considering this in the future. I made a deep dive video about the most common approaches to designing games for kids.

I think the ideal scenario is to create a game with an audience in mind … that you also love to play! I devised a model for determining which games are worth pursuing & how to prioritise game projects - might be worth looking at?

Hello new friends, thank you for the follow! 🙂 I’m a graphic designer in the board game industry - I’ve worked on over 50 game titles including War Chest, Let's Go to Japan, Santa Monica, Zoo Vadis, Dice Miner, and Votes for Women. I particularly love the icon and logo design parts of the process!

If you're in the UK and reading this, look to see if there's a Playtest UK group near you.

Honestly, I owe so much to PTUK.

Let’s train the Blue Sky Algorithm. Show me more Lucky Luke. Is that how it works? :)

Matthieu Bonhomme's take on LUCKY LUKE is likely my favorite ever?

So much slick cartooning in here.

Lucky Luke stands in his full cowboy gear, poncho and hat and all, as lightning strikes behind him during a stormy night. He looks menacing The cover for WANTED LUCKY LUKE

Luke stands in a gun fight with a group of women, two of whom are shooting alongside him, whilst another lies on the ground, with an arm around his leg.

I wonder if it’s a case of looking at it the wrong way round? I always think it’s better to identify an audience first - then create a game for them. Rather than creating a game and looking for an audience.
