I shelved fantasy romantic action/comedy THE CHASTE AND THE CHAINED as a "drawn-by-me" project because the art chores ultimately proved unappealing, as this absurdly time-consuming spread from an early test story might hint. (I'd still love to just write and lay out the series, though.)

An old sample page from on-hiatus fantasy project THE LAST PARTY, dug up a few months ago to try out inking with various brush pens. This initial test was none too promising, but later experiments with the Zebra felt-tip brush pen worked out much better.
