I was today years old when I picked out & bought my first chosen cookbook.
I've been getting by with three that were gifted to me the first time I moved out, online friends' recipes & several scribbled on index cards.

When I was growing up, there was a rule (amongst many) about cough drops. That they were medicine, not candy. The first time I moved out, the first grocery list included a 100 count bag of cherry cough drops.
Those are candy where I live.

Me- I'm turning a roast into a steak. Then I'm making BLT's, minus the T.

Me- Well... we are at a grocery store... if you need ingredients.

'Nator & StepDad came over earlier, we did the presents thingy. Amongst the stoofs is a small tote for the sewing & cross stitching notions, yay! Also, it's getting harder each year for them to find citrus scented shower goos.
Why today? We don't Christmas very gracefully anymore. This is calmer.
