We’ve joined @oha-updates.bsky.social in welcoming the new rules restricting junk food marketing as a big step forward for public health.

But there’s more to do. In an open letter to the Government, we are calling on the regulations to be tightened further to protect even more people⬇️
In our letter, we call on the Secretaries of State to strengthen the rules by:
🔹 Adopting the 2018 Nutrient Profiling Model
🔹 Expanding product categories in scope
🔹 Removing “brand” exemptions
🔹 Starting work on next-phase advertising regulation

Around 1 in 5 of us are harmed by gambling, including through stretched public services, financial problems and suicide.

These harms disproportionately impact the most vulnerable.

That is why we are supporting this campaign along with MPs from across the political spectrum⬇️
🚨BIG NEWS🚨

Thank you to the 280 cross-party signatories backing my campaign & 10 Minute Rule Bill to end the outdated ‘Aim to Permit’ principle.

Councils & communities must have the power to say no to more gambling establishments.
