Unbelievably sad to hear of the passing of Tom Lehrer. The only solace I can feel is that we didn't all go together after all. Still, the pigeons are probably not going to have the best of days tomorrow, that may also be true for a squirrel or two.

There will be a moment in time when the Republican Party pivots away from Trump / MAGA, and those that are first to go will reap the spoils.
This could well be that time, when the bold can untie themselves from the anchor that Trump has become, and start working towards the end of all this madness.

As ever, the devil is in the detail. You say America should be a country where you can be whatever you want to be but then forget to include an exceptions clause for fascist dictators and autocrats. Schoolboy error.
