Congrats to member Peel Region. The Seniors Health and Wellness Village (SHWV) at Peel Manor has been recognized at the 2025 Brampton Urban Design Awards with the Award of Excellence, the Healthy by Design award in Building Design category, and named Best Overall Project.
This has been a key advocacy priority for our association since it was first recommended in 2008, and we commend the government for taking concrete steps to make this goal a reality."

This morning, CEO @lisalevin1.bsky.social joined member Shepherd Lodge to celebrate their achievement as a Best Practice Spotlight Organization through RNAO.

This designation recognizes excellence in evidence-based care, improving health outcomes, staff satisfaction and patient experiences.
This past Friday, CEO @lisalevin1.bsky.social headed up north to visit Fairvern Home in #Huntsville — both the current residence and the new home under construction!

It was a great opportunity to see the progress firsthand and discuss the future of long-term care in the region.
We’re pleased to attend the accreditation celebration of member Elliott Community — the first facility in #Guelph to implement the internationally recognized Butterfly Approach to dementia care. Congratulations on this important milestone and thank you for having us!
