I want to get back into songwriting! I have a few songs already that I’m quite proud of, but I definitely want to refine them and do more. I’m making it a goal of mine to release a single on Spotify by the end of next year. Maybe even an EP if we’re ambitious?

I’ve been loving the production on TLOAS more and more with each listen. I’ve been wanting a rock album from Taylor for ages and this kind of scratches that itch. It feels kind of like Red mixed with Midnights, which is perfect given her evolution in her perspectives on love since those albums.

Just finished my first listen-through of The Life of a Showgirl! It was so good! I was expecting more of a dance pop vibe, so I was a little surprised that the production was more “cool” and “suave”, but it worked. And danggg Taylor got SPICY on this one 😅

My university doesn’t guarantee TAships beyond the first 2 years of your Masters, so I was worried I’d be without funding this year. But something came through for me last minute so your boy is employed! And teaching chemistry… which will be interesting since my degree is in biology… but yay!

We should rightfully be weary of using generative AI in ways that steal from other artists for produce misleading/unverified information. But we should also talk about ways that we can use this technology responsibly - and in this case, in a way that actually allows me to support artists more.

One of my new favourite ways to use ChatGPT is to ask it for music recommendations. I’ve used to it to find songs for my National Indigenous Day post (and found artists I still listen to), and most recently, I used it to find French music that fits in with my usual vibe.

Méga Parc is such a cute little place! This indoor amusement park is located at the Galeries de la Capitale mall in Québec City, and we had so much fun here! The steampunk theme created a very charming atmosphere - and oh my god - Electro (the Mack Family Ontario) is such a vibe!
