I like McQueen. I do! But damn that was so mean of her to say 😒 like.... bruh. She's allowed to whether or not she wins. That was such a big goal of hers.

Idk. As someone who cries very easily, the cruelest thing anyone can tell to anyone, is NOT to cry during situations where its perfectly valid.

Situations where a child is forced to mature fast and become the caretaker/sacrifice their needs for other people should never just be brushed off.

That shit is traumatic and is a tragedy. I hate when it's just ignored. It follows the child and affects them well into adulthood in unhealthy ways.

Thr Idolm@ster anime kind of..... glorifies it a bit and it irks me. The only time the seriousness of it all hits is when 2 of the other idols realize and are sad. Then it gets buried in a happy go lucky song.

With Teio, it's a lot more obvious in the anime.

With Yayoi, however, the anime doesn't give her situation the crushing gravity it deserves. Her family is poor. She's an idol for money. She scrounges for loose change around vending machines. And is the caretaker of all her younger siblings.

Okay. I see why I was immediately drawn towards Tokai Teio. She's a lot like Yayoi Takatsuki in Idolm@ster.

Except Tokai Teio has more depth to her which makes me cry for her even more 😭.

They're the optimistic, super cute, energetic girls who work hard and know tragedy and hardship. 🥲
