And then some games are just buggy. FFXIV, for example, has flickering light sources. Sometimes itβs barely noticeable, but it feels like thereβs something off.

I have, yes. The NVIDIA performance issue is a bug in the DXVK software used by proton and wine to translate directx calls into Vulkan calls (since directx is Microsoft-exclusive).
In DX12 games, thereβs a bug where it causes about a 20% performance drop

Fwiw, I lived in Canada last year, and I generally understood it that no one there blames Americans as a whole. Like if youβre open about being part of the problem, then they will, but generally the response to people finding out I am a USAmerican was βIβm sorry.β

Itβs genuinely sad. Corporations have never cared for the artist, only the result. The development of image generators only highlights this.
As long as artists continue to draw, though, I (and many more) will continue to support yβall.
