I’ll hopefully do an initial release of my #CrossStitch pattern software at the weekend. The pattern export will be quite basic and I will need to add different stitch type support, like half stitch and back stitch etc. I’m quite happy with the palette quantisation and the editor panel though.

So I have a #CrossStitch question. Say you have 18ct cloth, would you mix elements in 18ct stitches and 9ct stitches? Not sure if this would look ok or jarring. It would be on a bookmark.

Here are some screenshots from the #CrossStitch pattern editor. One has a reference image, one has been quantised to the cross stitch pattern size with only DMC colours. The last shows it reduced to 32 colours. Tomorrow I will do some work on the pattern export.

Upper trays are finished! I have also been thinking about the pattern software whilst I have been forced to sit with my leg elevated, should have something to show at the weekend. Back to work tomorrow though! #CrossStitch #3DPrinting

He excitedly showed me technical drawings of the class 91 before they were in service. We sadly never made that train journey. Now I don’t have to mask, I have decided I AM going in that train ride. When I do I will raise a glass to my dad, and do it with the love of my life. 4/4

Each other. The synergy we have still leaves me speechless at times. I mentioned trains earlier, one of the things I wanted to do when I was younger and was not yet forced to mask, was go on a train ride on a class 91, Intercity 225. My dad shared some training nerdiness with me. 3/4
