It's that time again— AFSCME members that work in DPSCS are conducting a staffing analysis across Maryland's correctional facilities. This staffing analysis will be used to determine how many more correctional officers are needed to safely staff a facility.
Local 558 leaders Wendy Smith and Charmanique Gingles are in California this week to support the over 30,000 AFSCME (UNAC/UHCP) members who work for Kaiser Permanente who are on strike for safe staffing, fair pay, and quality patient care!
