Ultimately, the primary contributor expectation will be to simply have fun! We want to see your creativity: make it black & white or color, use multimedia elements, take pictures of your work with your phone like it's a shitty library photocopier, etc.

Depending on the work load a contributor takes on, the completion standard will vary. For example, a 5-minute pencil sketch on notebook paper is not enough for an article feature, but it is fantastic for an intentional little Neil margin doodle. Both of these are acceptable!

A contributor can create up to 2 full pages total, though graphic designers may take on more to help others realize their creative vision in addition to (or in lieu of!) their own pages. (Designers who prefer to collaborate, this project is made for you!)

CONTRIBUTOR GUIDELINES:

What is expected of each contributor depends on their role(s)—artist, writer, codemaker, or graphic designer—and whether they choose to make small piecemeal elements, or larger full page pieces (eg. margin doodles vs a colored contact lens box).

It is very important to emphasize that this project adheres to anything that could plausibly take place pre-canon. The goal is to create fictional non-fiction pieces that could have existed and that Neil could have collected.
