'Semi-retired' football writer. I only have time to tweet bad opinions.
Roy Keane doing the standard hindsight analysis he borrowed from Neville.

Donnarumma probably wants to see the ball so he can shuffle to either side. It's inch perfect.

This type of lazy analysis (shout out to Sturridge for speaking up) is the same as VAR wanting to correct every minor detail.

I hate him but gotta agree with Gary.. there's no way you can drag this back.

Salah might be the worst player on the pitch.

Gary Neville claims he thought and saw everything would happen immediately after watching it.

Honestly, the absolute worst. He's basically the English Andy Gray at this point.

Do we know if those on VAR duties listen to the matches they cover with or without commentary?

How long before Neville says that City should go more direct again?

Every time my number of appearances on the pod start to catch up with Romero's card count, he pulls away again.

But I will be on tonight. It's a form of therapy at this point. Come and see the Doctor.

Spurs deserved nothing but a few solid performances.

Romero is never going to get the benefit of the doubt when he's spent all season being a mental case.

Thought that second United goal got checked very quickly. Looked like Sesko got a touch and Bruno was offside but who knows?

McCoist still doubling down on Bruno shinning it being a fantastic finish. Give your head a wobble.

This obsessive need to appease the flag-shaggers is what's cost Starmer the left. Instead he chose to target the poor, elderly and those desperate to start a new life here which goes against the very people who voted for him.

We are the ones that have been let down here, not you.
Keir Starmer attacks the racism of Reform and Matt Goodwin but then adds that "Britain has also been let down by a mindset on the left of politics that is too slow to defend core British values"

I can't wait to see the chatgpt response from VinAI & the gang for why this transfer window – the last with TWO sporting directors – was a total wet fart.

The squad planning only makes sense if we still had Kane & Son to carry the team. Someone should tell the Lewis family they left in 2023 & 2025.

I'm fully on board the 'Frank Out' train but today, take a day off, he deserves credit as well. When your captain doesn't come out for the second half, despite being down to the bare bones, he and the team needed to step up. They did.

It's crazy how if we had lost all the narrative would have been about how crap we are (we know). Yet dare to draw and the narrative is how bad City are and how we helped out Arsenal. It's painfully boring.

If City don't win the league, it'll be because of them. Not us. Same goes for Arsenal.
February 1, 2026 at 6:36 PM
I have no words. Pure insanity. Yet somehow Spurs have managed to drag themselves to a draw and were the most likely to win it.

Honestly, this club. COYS.

Wonder if City feel greater shame over this or the 115 charges? 👀

Neville asking what Thomas Frank says to the team at half-time.

How about "bye"?

We've infected City with our anti-football disease – they've been largely naff – but they're still miles above us.
February 1, 2026 at 5:17 PM
Fulham deserved to lose that for passing it backwards when you had already gone over the alloted injury time.
