While I could very well have simply replaced the stylus, I saw another XP-Pen tablet I liked on sale and decided to upgrade. Higher resolution, feels nicer to draw on, and no need to charge the stylus!

I *think* my tablet styluses' batteries are deteriorating. Even so, the fact that they've lasted me like 8 years and the tablet itself still works like a dream is pretty darn impressive. Tech longevity my beloved

Huh. Firefox has been messing with a few image-related things on me lately (one time I did a Picrew and the final image looked like that too). I think it's some overzealous privacy setting or other. I'll find out and re-upload.
