Any org that services marginalized communities must have an executable plan to nuke their database. Keep nothing stored locally. Everything needs to be encrypted in the cloud so it can be remotely eviscerated if, ahem, someone comes for your lists & you should perhaps store this data overseas.
Floor is in in our little guest cottage. It’s so cute.

We have a billionaire, actively building AI tools to eliminate jobs, while simultaneously desperate for population growth, no hope for young people or aspirational dreams of things like homeownership, how is society, not completely and utterly fucked, and very rapidly?

Funny how Apple/Google maps still list/show the Rose Garden as being there, but were able to instantly update their maps to reflect the Gulf of America.

Democrats never get enough accomplished because we are always cleaning up Republicans messes. Guarantee the demolished White House will require a Democrat to fix.

I’m on a short trip TO Assisi staying in a stone farmhouse, somewhat similar to my own, so it is interesting to compare…because this one is FREEZING. It was definitely the smart move to put underfloor heating during our renovation and use the thermal mass of the stone to keep the house warm.

The Great Hole-y Shirt mystery has been solved. For some time now I’ve been getting holes in my shirts in THE EXACT SAME SPOT. Couldn’t figure it out until the other day when I realized…my belt buckles have been rubbing against the kitchen counter and ruining my shirts.

AI slop being generated en masse for SEO purposes, AI LLM trained on all of this slop, returning slop results…it’s a race into ignorance.

I don’t think you truly understand the brand value at all… the values and positions of the founders of the company were always part of the appeal.

“A spokesperson for Magnum said the firm wanted to build and strengthen Ben & Jerry's "powerful, non-partisan values-based position in the world".

I survived the initial bubble of the dot com era, and I’ll say it again, the winners in AI are not going to be the platforms, it’s going to be the tight verticals, that know how to perfect very specific solutions. stocks.apple.com/A1AHKcl1gR2y...

NEW: Dr. Oz is quite literally telling his federal employees to eat less.

Like if you wanna fuck off to Thailand, but still make massive donations to Reform UK to influence British politics, fuck you. What a piece of dog shit.
Never understood the argument that if you tax rich people too much, they will leave their country and all the things they love about it. I say good. If you’re not willing to contribute your fair share to the social contract, then we don’t need you.

There’s a TikTok content creator I follow which shows the UK property market and what’s funny is you’ll always see these £2M houses with 7 bedrooms…

And 2 bathrooms.

I feel at that price you could’ve squeezed an extra bathroom in there.

My experience in Europe, especially after Brexit, is that a lot of countries like to complain about their involvement in the EU, but none of them actually wants to leave it & go on their own. Only (some of) the Brits were dumb enough to do that.

Yesterday we had a flurry of activity as they came to start the final landscaping on our property. They brought an orange tree, three lemon trees, a lime tree and a new, but old, olive tree. Next week they’ll lay down some additional sod, and then in the spring, they’ll put the orchard in.

Frankly, surprised how long it’s taking to get to guillotines.
Are we in a game of chicken to see how far a handful of freaks can push things until we bring back consequences and / or guillotines? How have we hyper-normalized them saying this shit out loud in public?
