Yes we bought these bunny related items and this wonderful red vase.

A vase that is blue in color and has two rabbits on either side of the opening. A paint brush is in the vase. Behind is a tower of old fossils that is black and white.

We went on the Michiana Pottery Tour yesterday. Saw so many gorgeous and amazing pieces and a few studios. A very nice time with friends visiting us.

Pottery Pitcher done in an arabic inspired manner. They all looked almost as if they were metal. The pitcher has windows inspired markings around the base - he said based on mosques he'd seen.

Large vase. Very chunky in design. Many colors but primarily a red with blue and orange highlights. The design reminded us of old trailers people used to haul behind their cars to go camping. We bought this one.

Vases fired with actual flowers and ferns that left their image on the vases. Dark grey with the flowers and ferns a milky white color. We also saw the ash pile with remains of the flowers and ferns. These were very smooth and silky to touch.

A pitcher with intricate design including an Angler Fish - which had a sort of antenna and a light hanging over its mouth that attracts other creatures to get eaten. The base of the pitcher is red while the rest is black and white.

The more hoops I have to jump through to download a promo - the more likely I am to move on to the next email.

It's sad, but reality.

The super common issue is people sending WAV or sending untagged mp3.

I love helping out artists - sometimes I just don't have time.

things that mildly annoy me

promo sent today using wetransfer - required me to enter email to send notification to the label. which, ok, I get it helps the label. I've been there.

So I do - and that means I'm signing up for a wetransfer account now. verification code sent, etc.

I almost deleted.

I get that the news cycle is packed right now, but I just heard from a colleague at the Smithsonian that this is fully a GIANT SQUID BEING EATEN BY A SPERM WHALE and it’s possibly the first ever confirmed video according to a friend at NOAA

Isn’t that awesome? I think my teacher wanted me to hear the classic Herbie. As he’d had his major mtv hit with rock-it a year earlier or so. I can’t remember the years.

She tossed me quite a few tapes and cds of different stuff. New age, classical, jazz. she was a good influence.

Herbie has been a major inspiration to me since I was in high school. My teacher loaned me maiden voyage on tape or maybe cd. Every era is interesting. He’s a chameleon reinventing himself and carrying on the classics at the same time.

Many many technologies, ideas, processes, social media sites… start out with good intentions… and then hit a wall.

Either too expensive to run so need money - which ends up killing it

Or they get successful and some rich idiot sees an opportunity to screw people.

Time and time again.

Apple and Tidal were already available. This is just yet another step in that direction. Not that I like it.

Seems to be a lot of restrictions on using streaming tracks though,

That’s where my searching said to look and I just have my list I’ve saved. No continue.

Another person just said to be sure to “go back” before exiting and not exit the app from middle of film. I’ll see if that helps.

I’ll also say, I love Criterion and I know it’s possible it’s my end. We’ve also watched a couple others with no issues except continue watching showing up (and it should per searches).

Not sure I’m going to pay for the annual subscription at this point.

Specifically - the Anderson Tapes kept getting horizontal lines through it like Venetian Blinds. They’d turn on and off throigh most of the film. Tried rebooting.

The Parallax View kept flashing at us. Like all of a sudden the screen would flash a brief moment then go back to normal.

I’m doing the preview of the Criterion Channel.

No “continue watching“ anywhere. just downloaded the app to my amazon fire cube so it’s up to date. If we pause a movie I have to start over and fast forward.

Two movies had bad glitches.
