I choose to show up in peace despite the chaos around me, shining a light on how the path can be different. Like this flower, I choose to just be me, not changing my nature to fit in and conform, not letting someone else decide for me who I am.

When the world is shouting at me how to be, I remind myself, I can choose how I show up. And so I choose. I choose to show up in love and demonstrate that hatred from others will not make me be like them. I choose to show up in kindness so that others may learn of its healing power.
