Oh wow, that’s great. It’s really amazing that you’ve taken my jokey post from Bluesky and made a real improvement. Thank you!
Somehow in the rush at the end of the year I missed @openaq.org's excellent report on air quality data availability documents.openaq.org/reports/Open...
'36% of countries are not monitoring air pollution'

Thanks Callum. I hope this is useful feedback and not disrupting your NYE holiday.
St Paul’s Crescent, Camden to Paddington Station.
Wow, thanks! In fairness, all cycle route planners struggle to choose sensible routes for this trip because the area between Regents Park and Paddington is not cycle friendly.
Mind you, Apple Maps can’t find a route where you don’t need to walk your bike.
TfL Go the official route planning app from @transportforlondon.bsky.social has a very creative approach to cycle directions. Camden to Paddington, via *checks map* Waterloo

This cycle lane in Camden used to have a physical barrier made of ‘wands’. After a scary incident when an HGV cut into the lane alongside me and my daughter I alerted the council to the danger and suggested more protection was needed. I noticed today that all protection has been removed.

This COP29 African Leaders must demand Polluters Pay
As extreme weather events worsen, up to 118 MILLION people are at risk of drought and floods by 2030. Fossil fuel companies have profited immensely while polluting our planet. They must pay!

Please join me in signing Greenpeace UK’s urgent petition calling on the UK government to make fossil fuel companies like Shell and BP pay for the damage their emissions cause. Together we can convince Keir Stamer to stand firm against Trump and his climate wrecking Big Oil backers. Sign now:

During trump 1.0, we had to pull down all of the climate change pages off the EPA website. Start archiving shit now, document, backup, photograph, whatever you need to do.
Higher tax on private jets was a really positive move of course.
Fuel duty frozen, but bus fares up by 50%. Bad news for climate, air quality, health, the public purse and individuals cost of living.

Our new report highlights issues of air pollution in TX oil industry.

"This is a fundamental issue we have in America. Industries are allowed to pollute, deny the pollution, and then say there is no data to prove there was any pollution...No air quality monitoring means they can deny the issue"
Texas Must Address its Oilfield Air Pollution Problem - Oilfield Witness
Texas oil and gas pollution is ignored because the state refuses to properly monitor air quality and specific pollutants.

Tempted to use @blueark.app to import your tweets to @bsky.app ? Well, it works, which is great. It also means people will start engaging with random things you said a decade ago. Which is fine, but also weird.
