whilst i understand what you’re saying and agree to some extent, that’s not how it’s recognised in australia. The title is the grand final win. I’d much prefer the top of the table standard we see all over the world, but aus sport culture won’t ever accept that.

they’ve beaten Arsenal & City and are now 9th on the table. I don’t think it’s as dramatic as people are making out.
