We ensure people living with HIV and the broader community, with a specific focus on LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, can access culturally competent healthcare, support, education, and resources.
Our offices are more than places to get care; they’re safe spaces.

We’re committed to creating safe environments for people living with HIV and the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Because when people feel safe seeking testing, care, and support, we move closer to ending stigma and reducing new HIV cases.

Shoutout to our Patient Advisory Council!

This dedicated group meets with us quarterly to share insights on how we can be more culturally competent and better serve our community. Your voices guide our work, and we’re so grateful for your time, wisdom, and collaboration.

Stable housing is more than shelter; it’s health, security, and peace of mind.

We help clients living with HIV stay housed, preventing eviction and homelessness. This work wouldn’t be possible without the care and support of our partners and community.

Every appointment, every test, every conversation—we’re reminded that health care is about people first.

We’re proud to stand with the HIV and LGBTQIA2S+ communities, making care more accessible and compassionate every day.

From healthcare to housing to food security, this work is about people showing up for people. We’re proud to be part of that, standing alongside so many organizations that make care, dignity, and hope possible every day.

Good news for our State College community! We now have a physician assistant seeing patients one day a week. That means more appointment times, shorter waits, and easier access to the care you deserve.

This week, CDC leaders chose to resign rather than follow unscientific directives that would put people at risk.

Their decision was an act of integrity and courage. We’re grateful for their stand, and we stand with them.

Did you know we’ve got our own library?

If you live in our service area, you can browse the collection online, pick a book, and we’ll get it to you. No card is needed. Loans last 3 weeks, and returns are easy with the pre-stamped envelope we send along.

Reading, made simple.

In Orlando, the Pulse memorial crosswalk was painted over by the state. But attempts to erase love and memory only brought people closer.

Residents and LGBTQIA2S+ advocates restored the rainbow as a powerful symbol of resilience, remembrance, and pride.

Love continues to shine brighter than hate.

Words matter. They shape how we show up for each other.
At AIDS Resource, we’re intentional about language because everyone deserves to feel respected, seen, and understood.

You can’t get HIV from sharing a drink. Or a hug. Or a handshake.

Knowing the facts helps break down stigma, and that makes our communities safer, kinder, and stronger.

This year, four clients moved into housing, and 18 more were able to stay where they are. Because housing isn’t just a roof. It’s safety, stability, and something to call your own.

People are using condom sense. We gave out 24,000+ free condoms last year alone. Because taking care of your health should be easy, judgment-free, and always within reach.
