Yesterday’s naps and last night’s sleep have made a difference

I did WFH this morning

I had a “lunch nap”

I woke up realizing I need an afternoon nap

I am now back in bed (with sweatpants/shirt/hoodie/socks on)

R has made something to eat (which I have just eaten)

Now to nap

Surgery for R Monday

The pocket situation

Then, the right eye will be done

A lot of time at the hospitals, but glad we have it mostly figured out

MEGA UPDATE

Have seen doc, eye measurements and eye pics done, then back to doc

No detachment, BUT there is a pocket of fluid in the back of the eye and they cannot tell what that is because the cataracts are SO BAD

So, left eye cataract next week, then they should be able to figure out

The waiting for whatever will be happening today is mind numbing

R is partially asleep beside me

They dilated his eyes over an hour ago

Also, are the coloured desks for ease of access and reference?

(I mean after the Red Desk for emergency)

Partial detachment

Back tmw for 9am surgery (to do the reattachment and cataract surgery on the same eye at once)

Don’t get me started on the whole debacle of no you don’t have one/oh no yes you do roller coaster

I am all about blankets, books, warm beverages, and sometimes a good dram of scotch (lol)

I love a good walk in the snow, pretty lights and good food

I also love to rewatch comfort movies 🍿

Immense sadness

Get through, go grab some food and get online to order my stuff

And that’s what it is, just stuff

But 3 lbs…$150…the products cost 1/3 of that, I win

My bag was 3 lbs overweight

I debated paying for it: $150

So I anxiously took out what I thought was weighing me down (which, let’s face it, is technically STILL GETTING ON THE PLANE)

Get to the security line…take a good look in my tote

It is all my FULL SIZE hair products
