In the 7 months we had a roommate we went thru FOUR bottles of Dawn.
In the 6 months we've been at our new place, we still haven't finished our first bottle.
I know it was being used for cleaning other things too but I can't fathom why that much would have ever been necessary.

Funny how the first day we get snow in the valley is the first day I've taken an unplanned sick day in several months. I took a vacation day so at least I'm not missing out on any pay.

Drinking less caffeine than ever yet feeling some of my worst pain and fatigue days means, as usual, one size fits all treatments are bullshit.
I've also lost 20lbs in 1.5yrs and am more active overall. Fuck your weight loss theories, that's not some magical cure either.

I've been catching myself making pained frowny faces the last few months and I think I just need to suck it up and start taking more cannabis during the day.
Switching to edibles has made me much more aware of the cost and I've been avoiding taking as much as I did when I vaped.

Took 20min to clean the shower earlier then crashed horribly and slept for 3hrs. Instant post-exertional malaise is normal for me, but even with so little activity, I can't predict if it'll last only a few hours, a few days, or a few weeks.

The nosepiece on my computer glasses snapped 💔 I'll start getting constant migraines if I stop wearing them, regardless of my monitor settings. So I got a cheap pair of blue blockers for now and I'll see if an optometrist can fix them at some point.

I've always hand-washed dishes and considered dishwashers a luxury I couldn't afford.
Now that I have one, I still prefer to hand-wash, but mostly because we don't usually make enough dishes in a day to warrant using it.
But I gotta say it's super handy when I don't feel well!

Our apartment building had a little pizza dinner get-together in the co-working lounge and I would've loved to have stayed to meet everyone but the cacophony of chatter was overwhelming. My voice doesn't carry well, and it was super hard to understand anyone speaking. 😮💨

Sitting at work swimming through the thick mud of brain fog, my entire body's on fire, my mind can only scream and all I want to do is curl up in a ball and cry, but knowing I'm socially expected to just carry on as if I were healthy because my illnesses are chronic 🫠

Two days later and I'm still extra stiff, sore, and fatigued. But I'm no longer stooped and slowly shuffling around, so I think I'll be good to work Tuesday as usual. Not the best reaction this year, but not the worst, either.
Had nervous sweats all day but I'm done with my spooky shots for another year.
I'm not great with needles to begin with but I think at this point in my life the most upsetting thing is never knowing exactly how severe the pain/fatigue flare will be.
