Winter at the Arboretum

Back in 2020 I was too ornery to take up sourdough bread with everyone else ("sheep! lemmings! Yeast is still good enough for me!"), but my aunt randomly gave me some starter last week and I finally made a loaf, and ... y'all, I've learned my lesson: you should never let ornery win over delicious.

Went on a mushroom walk with my budding mycologist, and this was my favorite find. With bonus lichen.

Cleared for sports again and can't wait to get back on the ice! 🥌 I'm taking bets as to whether I'll remember to take off my gripper for the first slide out...
