Our takeaways:

💥 Adopting AI in newsrooms is vital to media’s survival.

💥 Yet the human element remains central.

💥 Digital and AI literacy are crucial to bridging the knowledge gap.

💥 But access to AI is unequal. If gaps are closed, AI can improve accessibility for the marginalized and disabled.

The media reflects the values, ideologies, and intentions of its makers. That means that audience members need analytical skills to identify these underlying value systems, motivations and ideologies.
