Ukrainian photographer George Ivanchenko was seriously injured in a drone attack in Eastern Ukraine. Ivanchenko received a scholarship from DW Akademie's MediaFit project and has been involved with the initiative for years. Our thoughts are with him and his family.

Our takeaways:

💥 Adopting AI in newsrooms is vital to media’s survival.

💥 Yet the human element remains central.

💥 Digital and AI literacy are crucial to bridging the knowledge gap.

💥 But access to AI is unequal. If gaps are closed, AI can improve accessibility for the marginalized and disabled.
