I'm doing an experiment tonight. I am not drinking any alcohol or using weed. I plan to go to bed sober. I expect one of two results in the morning: Either I will awake refreshed or I will regret missing an enjoyable, relaxed evening.

As a 'scientist' I prefer the use of SI/metric for the usual reasons. I propose that we rename US Customary system ( ya know: feet, miles, pounds...) and call it the USArchaic system.

Went to the full service car wash. Usually takes 20 minutes tops. Today After an hour still not wiped down so I asked for the key and left. They were woefully shorthanded. The manager told me he can't get his usual people to come to work because, even tho they're legal, they're afraid of ICE !

When Canadians responded to the moron's tariffs by taking red state liquor off the shelf I did the same. No more Kentucky or Texas bourbon for me. I bought a bottle of Canadian whiskey. It's OK, but not the flavor I like. Then I discovered Lost Republic, a California bourbon. YES! No red state stuff

Why colonize Mars to save humanity. Can't we simply reduce human population size over the next century so the planet can support us without being degraded? If the human population was a half billion instead of 9 billion we would still be human and the planet could heal.

I bought an inexpensive #EastTop NV chromatic 12. Works better than anything I found at 4 times the price!! But the real secret is in one's skill, which finally became clear as I worked thru #Yvonnick_Prene's site, #NYHarmonicaSchool. The real secret is learning to play the same tune in all keys.

My #Suzuki #chromatic was a bust, so I ended up with a #Harmo #Angel16, but before I did I also tried an #EastTop NV in G. That works fine, but I really like playing a C harp. So I got a #Seydel in C orchestra. That works OK but it was pricey, and takes a lot of technique on the low notes.
