The unfortunate thing is that unlike DeviantArt, there is no option to download the uncompressed image with the click of a button on Tumblr.

What do you think of moving from DeviantArt to Tumblr? What workarounds do you recommend to make uncompressed downloads available?

I'm considering to stop using DeviantArt, because of how unapologetically they support AI slop. I like the gallery format it has, and I suppose Tumblr is the most popular site that has the same feature (Archive).

not many people seem to remember but back in 2013-14 people were already saying the market was oversaturated with way too many indie games that are pixel art/sidescollers etc, before juggernauts like hollow knight, stardew valley, undertale, night in the woods, rainworld etc ever graced the horizon
