Back in Stockholm after a year. Exactly like last time, right after borderland. This place has many i’d like to call friends but also everyone is collectively experiencing a deep sense of isolation from each other. There’s camaraderie in isolation but not real closeness. Odd.

At Kwia in Berlin waiting for an hour now to see a #microtonal acoustic guitar playing my singer songwriter who is actually doing something super niche and interesting but I have to power through some ADHD USB-J playing horrible genZ tunes. Why is Berlin like this? Deplatform USB-Js.

We had plans to travel for the aforementioned birthday. To celebrate it. Now I feel weird about travelling alone. I cannot accompany her to where she's going. It's not that simple. All of this feels perplexing. It's the anger and frustration of the unfairness of it all that I can't deal with.

Someone I love just told me their father has passed. All I feel is really really vicariously empathetic grief. Numb. She will go back to her country (at war) to claim the body from the morgue because she's the only legal relative. The funeral might end up on both her and the late father's birthday.

Being a solo musician and managing a studio is a bizarre and lonely experience.

Spent half of today rearranging the subs and tops and micing up the drums in the studio. Ran back and forth the length of the studio to check if each mic works as intended. Preamp tweaking and noisegating. Loads of clapping for no reason, trouble shooting, and cableswapping.

Trains in Berlin are late so often, it’s a bit confusing if it’s a glitch because the clock is resetting or because BVG sucks.

Messing around with the new ChatGPT/Sora image and video generation. It's a lot of fun but I would potentially wanna know how much energy/water these silly prompts require to process? Isn't it criminally unethical to not reveal this data point at this stage?

I'm looking forward to reaching a level of coding proficiency to be able to actually write code at a decent level. I've realised most actual coding work is going to involve debugging and reviewing other people's code. Currently finished an intermediate python module. Almost done with the advanced.
