I like the inverted colors behind them you put. Warm on Riku's side and cool colors ok Sora's. Shows how they both carry a bit of the other.

Drives me nuts I know. I used to draw my OCs and hardly any fanart. Now it's mostly Soriku fanart these days with the occasional OC fanart.

That combined with her joking suggestion to take the raft and go with Sora. I just think there was something unsaid going on. She didn't feel all that comfortable around Riku it seems. Like maybe she wanted to get away with Sora.

I always wonder what Kairi saw back in KH1 that made her comment that Riku had changed. I remember reading once that Kairi as a princess of heart perhaps subconsciously sensed the looming darkness in Riku's heart. I like that idea. So I drew it.

I actually looked up out of curiosity the other day and there is a specific Japanese word for horizon that refers to where sky meets land, "Chiheisen". There is also one referring to where the sky meets the sea, "Suiheisen."

For anyone who wants to play with these ideas.
