Lethal difficulty has been brutal but fun so far.

There's something so satisfying about walking around with a giant chip on your shoulder knowing no one can do anything about it.

This is a Ghost of Yōtei skeet.

Seeing music in arenas sucks.

but Motionless in White and Bring Me the Horizon still rip, even if the venue is trash.

Using key words and semi-tailored resumes will help get you past a screening too. And if you make it to an interview you can do some prep to fill any gaps that might have been lies.

Personality is 30-40% of my hiring process. If you won't gel with the team you probably aren't hired.

Usually you can embellish your duties quite a bit. Employment verification is usually just dates of employment and title. They may go over general duties but if you add some extra details it'll probably slip by.

I don't know how common it is to even call references or employment verification, tho.

Doing tests across all NA servers and most of them now seem to resolve to a central hub, US West, Central, etc.

They also generally seemed less performant with higher latency and jitter, even if they had decent bandwidth. I'm

I noticed this sometime last month when I started having issues. I was auto-connecting to LA and I noticed after I had issues I was connecting to just "US West". Manually specifying LA worked for maybe a week, but then that started getting routed to US West as well.

There's tons of filters on the site too, including whether someone is accepting new patients, and whether they offer sliding scale pricing.

I literally did this yesterday and it took less than 15 minutes to find someone that specializes in ADHD and set up a consult call.

I've been working on moving away from Adobe, but it's little things like automatic captioning or arrangable panels that are missing from Davinci that make it hard to commit.

Great work maintaining such a comprehensive list. Adobe is a garbage tier extortionate company.

My house getting struck by lightning might be the dumbest reason my website has gone offline.

A fun game I like to play when I have insomnia is "can I work on my server from my phone while everyone is asleep". Losing means I have to get up and go to something with a real keyboard.

My Plex server has traffic like 18-20 hours a day so 3AM-can't-sleep is genuinely a good time for maintenance.

KCD2 was/is my GotY so far, but I think if Abiotic sticks the landing it might take that honor.

I'm a big story enjoyer and it's hard for a survival game with less story to compete, but they just nailed the gameplay loop like no survival game I've played has.

Abiotic Factor is such an incredible game.

I'm playing it offline with a buddy and every time we get to a new portal we spend the next few minutes running around shouting at each other to come look at this or that.

Co-op aside, it's got to be one of the best games of all time (so far).

It features a man (Morgan) in an orange space suit with the text "PREY preorder now 5.5.17"
There are testaments from various video games outlets.
An M rating, logos for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, as well as Arkane and Bethesda.

Twitch support is so horribly useless lmao

The Girl from Arkanya is great so far. It's cute, charming, and well written; it pays reverence to it's source material without feeling derivative, the pixel art is fantastic. And the music is incredible.

Kickstarter games are hit or miss, but @arkanyagames.bsky.social knocked it out of the park.

The KCD2 blacksmithing DLC was the highlight of Gamescom ONL for me.

Yes, I am working on a Hot Wheels drawer. Thanks for asking!

I printed a gridfinity grid for my drawer and now I'm running out a bunch of individual cups. The cars fit pretty nicely and for the most part rest on the chamfered side.

I should be able to fit 63 accessible cars per drawer.
A picture of a pulled out IKEA Alex drawer with an orange grid and 15.5 3D printer cups, each with a car inside.

The cars range from real to speed boat with wheels. There are more yellow cars than any other color.

The latest entry in my favorite series, "Zack spends too much money on stuff he doesn't need", the Witcher 3 10th anniversary Xbox controller (the Elite one).

I was so bummed when they immediately sold out, and while I definitely paid above MSRP, it wasn't the worst deal.
A grey and black Xbox Series 2 Elite controller with Witcher 3 livery. The "3" from the game logo is on the right grip with the Wolf School emblem in the center.

The sticks are dark grey, with black and grey buttons, and a gunmetal d-pad.

Mafia: The Old Country has been a blast so far. About 8 hours in and it's great. Fantastic writing, good story, good gameplay.

I think the weakest part is the entirely mission based structure so far. I'd love a chance to explore the map.

Still a great time, especially for the ~$40.

The nice thing about smoking things in the summer in Phoenix is that the smoker starts out at 120 degrees, so it doesn't take long to reach temperature 🫠

A fun game I play is "Is that sound coming from my 3D printer, or from my dog?"

Is my dog scratching itself, and the couch by proxy, or did bed leveling go horribly wrong?
Is the printer zeroing itself, or did my dog fall off the couch?

It's fun and in no way stressful /s
