As for the movie itself, it was one of a slim collection of VHS tapes we had when I was growing up, and the only monster movie we owned, so it was on regular rotation. I saw all the sequels (and the prequel) decades later, but they pale in comparison.

NEW: BRIDE OF CHUCKY

Believe it or not, Bride of Chucky was my first Child's Play movie. Why? I don't know, it was 1998. I remember it being more goofy than scary, something I picked up on about "scary" movie sequels.

Also, Chucky once made an appearance on WCW Nitro to threaten Rick Steiner.
