The optics don't look good. I don't care who is paying for the White House ballroom.. when our Gvt. is shut down, farmers are losing millions of dollars (and their farms), and the Nat'l debt is sky-rocketing, unemployment is up, cost of groceries are up... Destroying a national treasure for a $200+M

Why do elected officials allow someone they disagree with (RK Jr.) stay in office when they can fix the problem? Cowards to do the right thing? No. Cowards because they fear losing their jobs for doing the right thing.

Prediction: The hostility and partisan bullying modeled (becoming standard behavior) by our elected officials will carry over to professional sports: teams and fans. Watch for more violence, assults, penalties, and brightness.

How messed up is this country when a slowly declining brand (Cracker Barrel) decides to rebrand its logo, and the President says the the new logo is "too woke".

Watching the WNBA All-Star game, listening to the collaboration in a competitive environment... they do it right. Our elected officials all want the same outcome, but the money and job security causes loyalty to shift from the people they represent, to the demigod they serve.

Donald Trump is poison... like nitrates are to our soil and waterways. He makes things seemingly (under the gaslight) happen (crops grow bigger, better, "best in history"), but in the end, cancer spreads to the people, waterways, and earth. Consequences Trump will never understand.

I think if a pro pitcher hits a batter with a pitch that's outside of the box, they pitcher should be ejected from the game. Period. These are professionals. They should be accurate.

Disappointed in Senator Ernst, and suspect Senator Grassley will follow suit (after his hypocrisy with supreme court appointments). They're terrifically nice people in person, but when it comes down to it, self-preserving (and pandering) as they vote. #badpolitics
