My favorite personal experience is my phone carrier's website not accepting my old password in the password reset page because it was too long (presumably they tightened their requirements at some point after I had created an account)

#security reminder to always use GPG keys to sign your commits when working on repos with more than one contributor. Anyone can make a commit under your name + email and push it to the remote, and it will appear as if it's from you. GPG signing is the only way to mitigate this.

Each Hephaestus blast dealt anywhere between 1400-2500 damage. The only thing missing from this build was the Hephaestus special boon, because my attacks fired my specials. That would've been broken. The Typhon fight only lasted 3 minutes.

I plan to write a (somewhat) deep dive on how Tor works. I think it's a really cool protocol. There's a lot of mystery surrounding it in popular culture, but under the hood it uses concepts that should be familiar to most web devs.

The hair in this drawing seems complicated, especially with that outline. In reality, it's a single div! The black "outline" is a black div. The brown hair is a pseudo-element on the parent with a smaller size + brown color. Then the parent is clipped with clip-path along multiple points.

The head of Jerry Smith from the TV show Rick and Morty drawn using CSS and basic shapes. Dev tools inspector is open on the hair element; you can see that clip-path was used with a polygon to cut out the shape.

I want to write a blog post about all the little CSS tricks I've learned through making CSS art. For example, this one drawing I did relies heavily on radial gradients for shading and the eyes.

Jigglypuff drawn with CSS. Dev tools inspector open on the right shows a big background-image radial gradient rule for the eyes. 6 purple arrows point to the different radial gradients used in the drawing.
