I think that at this really early step I was focusing on disturbing and impressive look. One step at the the time! :)

It was all about exploration and so in this first step I was mainly focusing on the shapes, silhouettes and look but not too much on the scale. I knew it was about giant creatures but adding depth and scale would come later.

Concept Art for Red Guardian in the movie Thunderbolts*.
Played by @davidharbour. I was dealing with a darker vibe on this proposal, less red and more dark following the tone of the movie. Less Santa Claus and more Spec Ops. This was exploration!
