Winter is my least favorite season because the dry air means I get zapped by static electricity every few minutes. But it also means that I can usually rub my hands together, build a charge, and zap people on command when they annoy me, so that's fun.

We’ve known since he mocked that disabled reporter that Trump is an ableist monster who doesn’t care about the lives of people with disabilities, so I’m not sure what image he’s still trying to control.
If we just listened to and believed survivors like we should, we (the public) probably wouldn't have to look at all these gross pictures from the Epstein estate. 🤮

Cuellar accepted a pardon from Trump, who clearly wanted the congressman personally indebted to him. That's not what a real opposition party does. Democrats on the Appropriations committee should vote against reinstating Cuellar.

I'm told House Dems on the Appropriations Committee are holding a secret vote *this* afternoon on whether to reinstate Cuellar. If you've got a rep who is on the committee, a quick call would do some good.
As someone who works in social media, I did in fact LOL at the idea of trying to sift through five years of anyone’s social media. Even with a program, that will probably be a slog, especially if you’re gonna do it to everyone who visits the U.S.

Me, a typography nerd: switching from a Serif font (Times New Roman) to a Sans Serif font (Calibri) actually makes your communications more accessible and easier to read, so it's completely unsurprising that this bullshit administration would switch back.

My mother is on the phone with an automated system trying to schedule her annual wellness exam. Every time she answers a question, the automated system makes a clacking noise to mimic the sound of typing, as if it's taking notes like a live human. 😂

Went to a White Elephant party tonight. The theme was “dress like you did in high school.” So I rolled up in sweats over Soffe shorts, a shirt covered in puffy paint lettering, my varsity soccer sweatshirt, and a pre-wrap headband. My brother said I nailed it. 😂
