Attorney by day. Wolf by night. He/Him. 🏳️‍🌈
Mike, I found the whole video, please fact check me:
1. Duffy’s form is way better than RFK jr.’s?
2. Rfk jr doesn’t actually complete a single pull up?
3. Why are these morons always doing pull ups in public?

Also, because he’s good at his job, and he acted his ass off in There Will Be Blood.
Everyone is lining up behind Paul Dano because he doesn't seem like the type of guy who'd go on Bill Maher's podcast

barring some sort of society-wide denazification effort I am basically not at all interested in reintegrating anyone involved in this administration after it all comes crashing down. if someone comes to me with DOGE on their resume I will tell them to fuck off until my dying day

Was thinking about this listening to the S Ct oral args today. People like Alito get it and want it, but people like Roberts are in such denial, and they are marching us straight to the brink because of their bubble.
honestly i think you could probably describe the vast majority of American media, political, and corporate elites as decadent

nobody knows how bad things can get
you'd think that the fact that the president is currently trying to get the Feds to arrest Senators would be what the NYT editorial board would focus on but...

lol I’m not listening to this in real
time but if this is even close to the exchange going on, Alito really has dropped all pretense at having his judicial decision-making guided by any logical and neutral reasoning whatsoever.
Holy shit this back and forth between Kagan/Alito/Jackson/&the SG.

Kagan: Doesn't your logic mean a whole raft of other agencies must be invalidated?
SG: Yes, but that's not being litigated right now
Kagan: So what?
Alito: What if we just want to say "but maybe don't apply our logic elsewhere?"

When I was little, I was such a dork that what led me to stop believing in Santa was those "feed the children" commercials. I was like "why is this fat bastard and his magical distribution system feeding the world rather than getting us even more toys

Hey @shoe.bsky.social , I hear you are interested in AI investment opportunities. But have you considered investing in LEON’s BuhhhCoin, the exciting new crypto token with a promotional tie-in product for which we are currently exploring AI synergies?

This was a joke, idiots. I see re releases all the time. It was poking fun at the industry recycling shit all the time now and not taking risks.
Hollywood: “hey you liked this thing from 20 years ago, how would you like to see that same thing again?”
Me: “you mean like a sequel?”
Hollywood: “no, like the same thing.”
Me: “oh. Like a reboot I guess?”
Hollywood: “no. The exact same thing. [sobbing] Please give us your money.”

All of these monsters deserve each other and that’s the only solace I ever get thinking about it, how miserable and resentful they all make each other.
I'm not quite sure where to start

These people are maniacs.
A Palantir billionaire just called for public hangings.

“It's time to bring back masculine leadership to protect our most vulnerable,” writes Joe Lonsdale.

This is where Silicon Valley authoritarianism is heading:

The Vance stuff here really encapsulates the modern maga republican. What do they want? What would make them happy? What could a democrat earnestly say or do to win their vote? They can’t say because there is no answer based in policy or politics.
boy is it weird that no one in the fucking media was asking JD Vance about him sounding like a supervillain in 2022

they were too fucking busy rolling oranges to him

Lizza and Nuzzi are wanna-be reality television stars. The current moment makes a lot more sense when you realize that reality tv and influencer culture have taken over large swaths of public life, including journalism, and degraded it beyond recognition.

There’s so much here but I think what annoyed me most is her crying in response to an obvious line of gentle questioning that she must have been prepared to discuss. Reality TV was a gigantic mistake.
this is extraordinary. too many people in my profession have circled the wagons around someone who lacks the moral sense of a child
@timmiller.bsky.social: "He's being nominated to HHS Secretary…You had information that you could have shared…and you didn't share anything about him. Why? Did you still love him?"

This tool (Tarantino) talking shit about Dano almost single-handedly ruined one of his own films by casting himself in a 5-minute part as a racist Australian slaver because he really gets off on saying the n word on screen. He has negative charisma, Jamie f’ing Foxx could barely save it from him.
this Tarantino take is bizarre to me on a bunch of levels, like, not only is Dano’s meek, weird, zealous vibe perfect for the role, but I actually don’t think it’s at all obvious “There Will Be Blood” is supposed to be a two-hander
