Not once in my life have I cared one billionth of a nanometer what my personal purchasing choices meant for "the economy".

The one piece of advice I'd give to people wanting to come up to the Costa Rican Highlands for some birding is learn from my mistake, don't do it without personal transport unless you *love* walking up and down steep roads.

The thing I'm loving most about birding Costa Rica is I have no fricking idea what like 80% of what I'm looking at is exceot that I've never seen it before.

Don't suppose anyone has an idea what this object is we found in the recently expanded paths in our local woods. The protrusion on thr top seem to be some kinda broken weld maybe?

I find it fascinating that although whales are the largest animals on the planet there's a ton of species we just don't know much about.
There are 24 species of beaked whales and some have only been discovered in the last few decades.

So, the D&D spell Transport via plants requires a "large or larger plant" is normally ingerpretted as trees but I'm trying to work out strategic options that could be kept on our airship.
